Governor Kemp has been a relentless advocate for law enforcement and has enacted key initiatives to keep our streets safe.

Over the last few years, Governor Kemp has:

STOPPED municipalities from defunding their police departments;
Launched the new Crime Suppression Unit and delivered an additional $2 million from the Governor’s Emergency Fund to hire more officers;
Expanded the GBI anti-gang task force and the Attorney General’s anti-human trafficking task force.
