Folks,

Throughout my career -- as an ordained minister and then county commissioner -- I’ve been guided by three values: love, hope, and empathy. This is what my faith teaches me and it keeps me grounded on the best days, and the darkest ones.

And this is what I hear from so many people across Western NC when they talk about their lives. That they want to see a version of politics that reflects the values we hold closely.

That’s part of why so many people across WNC feel alienated by Cawthorn’s extremism and the way he tries to weaponize religion to further divide us.

We need unity in Western NC, not division. We’re out there organizing all across the district, listening closely to people and building a campaign that brings people together around the values we share.
