Friends, nothing is more sacred in our democracy than our right — your right — to vote.
But Chuck Grassley clearly doesn't agree. We can't think of any other reason why he, and every other Republican Senator, voted AGAINST the Freedom to Vote Act last week.
The bill would’ve:
- Made Election Day a national holiday
- Expanded vote by mail
- Set minimum days for early voting
- Prevented illegal voter roll purging
- Restored rights to the formerly incarcerated
- And much, much more.
Listen, Mike respects Sen. Grassley's years of service to our state. But if Grassley doesn't have the courage to vote yes on securing basic rights for American citizens, it's time to show him the barn door!
Can you chip in $3 to our campaign before tomorrow’s end-of-month fundraising deadline? Every single dollar gets us one step closer to winning this race, holding our Democratic Senate majority, and protecting voting rights for the people of Iowa and Americans everywhere:

We'd love to tell you that last week's vote was Chuck Grassley's only assault on our democracy. But we'd be fibbing.
Just a few weeks ago, Grassley stood silently on stage alongside Donald Trump at a rally right here in Iowa, all while Trump repeated his lie that President Biden stole the election. Then, he accepted Trump’s endorsement.
Grassley has also been silent as Iowa's own state legislature passed a law that restricts your ability to return a mail ballot on behalf of another voter (such as someone with a disability)... limits your access to mail ballot drop boxes... and reduces the availability of polling places for you to vote.
It's clear: Your right to vote in Iowa is on the ballot next fall.
That's why we're asking you, if you're in a place where you can make a donation, to chip in $3 or whatever you can to Mike's campaign. Your contribution will help us keep up our early momentum and show everyone that we're ready to stay in this fight for the next 12 months! Every dollar makes us stronger.
Thanks for being a part of our campaign and the fight to protect our democracy.
