See, Republicans in Texas are scared to run for re-election, so instead they're retiring in record numbers. 6 Republicans have opted not to defend their seats in 2020. That's a whopping 25% of the Texas GOP!
Why are Republicans running for the hills in this once reliably red state? For starters, Democrats have made inroads in key areas around the state.
