A retired police captain got into a shootout while being robbed by four suspects at a gas station. He shoots one or two but is unfortunately hit as well.
NPR did an article on concealed carriers who have had to defend their lives with their firearms. While a few offered to be interviewed, NPR acknowledged that many refused.
