I just received word minutes ago that Attorney General Patrick Morrisey’s petition before the U.S. Supreme Court to hear a huge case in opposition to Biden’s radical climate change policies has been granted.
You may recall that in 2016, Attorney General Patrick Morrisey led a successful 27-state effort at the U.S. Supreme Court to stop the Obama Power Plan— a radical job-killing proposal that would have provided the EPA with virtually unfettered authority to issue decarbonizing regulations.
With today’s news, West Virginia is in position to severely undermine radical Green New Deal policies.
If Biden prevails with his vision, it would not only crush many American jobs and increase the price of electricity; it would provide a major strategic advantage to China. China is currently building a massive new fleet of coal-fired power plants at the very same time the United States would be ending coal-fired power plant use and reducing natural gas usage by 50 percent.
We can’t let that happen!
Attorney General Patrick Morrisey is strongly opposed to allowing President Biden to impose his price-hiking, job-killing Green New Deal on the American people. Very soon, you'll be hearing more about West Virginia and the coalition of 20 states who are fighting back against these terrible policies.
