John,

I just wanted to follow up on Keith’s note before the weekend. I haven’t seen your name come through yet this month, and we could really use your help.

Unless we get our budget back on track, we’ll have no choice but to make cuts. And that's the last thing we want to do heading into next year’s midterm elections as Donald Trump and his allies tighten their grip on the Republican Party.

We still need to bring in more than $9,000 to make up the difference with less than three days to go. I’ll be giving Keith an update at 9:00 pm, and I’m hoping we can make some progress by then. Please pitch in if you can.

Thank you,

Kate Dobson

John,

I’m not going to sugar coat it: We’re in for a tough fight next year.

Midterm elections are always an uphill battle for the Party that controls the White House, and the GOP is going to do everything they can to seize the opportunity here in Minnesota.

Even more concerning, Donald Trump’s allies have taken control of the Republican Attorney Generals Association (RAGA) – one of the main right-wing super PACs that will be dumping money into our state next year. Just two weeks ago, it was revealed by the Washington Post that the RAGA’s non-profit arm made robocalls to recruit pro-Trump and pro-Big Lie extremists to Washington on January 6.

John, ask yourself. Why would Donald Trump, who pressured the Department of Justice, state leaders in Georgia, and others to help him overturn the 2022 election, be interested in having allies in state attorney general offices?

The danger here is obvious. That’s why it’s so important for us to continue organizing, activating, and connecting with voters in every corner of the state – and only your support makes that possible. That’s why I’m reaching out today.

I just checked in with my campaign team, and they let me know that we’ve fallen significantly behind our monthly budget target. To catch up, we need to raise more than $11,000 between now and Sunday.

Will you help us catch up so we can keep fighting to keep Minnesota blue? Even just $10, $25, $50, or whatever works for you right now will make a huge difference.

Thank you,

Keith Ellison
