Hey John, my name is Spenser, and I’m writing to you about my husband, Danny O’Connor.

Danny’s least favorite part of campaigning is asking supporters like you for your hard-earned money, so I told him to take the day off so I could ask you myself.

I’ve known Danny a long time, John, and I’ve had a front row seat to watching him grow as a public servant here in Ohio. I was even on the campaign trail with him when he ran in the 2018 special election!

Losing that race was tough, John — He knew that when the people of this state needed help most, his opponent wouldn’t fight for them.

And unfortunately, he was right. When faced with the unprecedented challenges of the last two years, the Republican delegation from Ohio turned their back on us.

So when Danny came to me about running again, I knew he had to do it.

A lot has changed since 2018. On a personal level, Danny and I got married and became parents! But one thing remains the same, John: Failed Republican leadership is holding Ohio back.

I know I’m about as biased as they come, but there is no doubt in my mind that Danny is the champion Ohio families need right now.

I hope you’ll consider giving $3 to Danny’s campaign before his deadline, John — whatever you can spare will mean the world to him.
