GOP Women Slam Biden’s $5.5 Trillion Socialist Spending Bill Chair Elise Stefanik and GOP women are leading the charge to get the word out that Biden’s spending bill would be the largest tax increase AND the largest spending bill in our nation’s history! Here’s what Elise had to say on Fox Business Mornings with Maria:
"The American people should know what the Democrats are discussing is the largest tax increase in our nation's history, but it's also the largest spending bill in our nation's history. This is over five trillion dollars, and that's taxpayer dollars. So even when President Joe Biden says it costs nothing, it costs the American people over trillions of dollars which we do not have." |
FOX NEWS: Rep. Stefanik introduces House bill to block, deport immigrants with sex crime convictions
On Wednesday, Chair Elise Stefanik introduced the BE GONE Act that would block and deport immigrants with sex crime convictions from the U.S. The legislation has the support of dozens of lawmakers, including GOP women in the House and the Senate. In fact, the BE GONE Act was first introduced by fellow Republican woman lawmaker Sen. Joni Ernst. Elise stated, “We are witnessing a border crisis of historic proportions. The Biden Administration’s open-border policies are allowing the highest number of illegal border crossings through our Southern Border in over 30 years. We must work to ensure sex criminals are stopped and deported immediately for the safety of our citizens. Border security is national security, and I am proud to work to keep our communities safe.” Read the full Fox News here. |
THE HILL: NRCC poll shows GOP in the lead over Democrats to retake House “According to a new poll released Tuesday by the National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC), the GOP has a 43-40 lead over Democrats with registered voters in the generic ballot across 85 potential battleground districts. Those results mark an improvement from the same poll conducted in February, April and July that had Democrats at 44 percent with voters.
The boost for the GOP in the Republican poll appears to be fueled in part by a drop in President Biden’s approval rating. The presidential approval rating is underwater, with 45 percent of voters approving of the job Biden is doing compared with 51 percent who disapprove. In July, the opposite was true, when 51 percent of voters approved of Biden’s performance compared with 45 percent who disapproved.
Only 39 percent of independents approve of Biden’s job performance, and Republicans have a 35-27 lead among independents in the 85 districts, according to the poll.” Read the full story here. |
