An update on our campaign:

It was a busy week on the campaign trail, team! Here’s what I’ve been up to:

First, I headed down to DC for the Congressional Women’s Softball Game, which raised a record amount of money to help fight breast cancer! I was able to meet and speak with several Democratic women in House leadership, including Debbie Wasserman Shultz:

I had a beautiful visit with the Chequamegon Dems in Ashland, WI! I picked up locally made jams, jewelry, and soap at the farmer’s market, enjoyed lunch at the Black Cat Coffee House, checked out the co-op and toured the town’s murals and artwork.

I also had an interview with the Sunrise Movement to share my commitment to tackling the climate crisis through bold legislation like the Green New Deal. I’m proud to have taken their No Fossil Fuel Pledge -- which means I won’t take a dime of money from the fossil fuel industry to run my campaign.

Finally, I’ve been using my social media platforms to talk about the importance of Breast Cancer Awareness month, spreading facts about early detection, and helping get life-saving information in front of as many people as possible about preventing and recognizing early signs of breast cancer.

The work we’re doing to meet and speak with voters in every part of the state is what truly makes this a grassroots campaign -- and it’s paying off: Last month, we had our biggest quarter to date, with thousands of donations in the door and a record number of voters pledging their support for us at the ballot box.

I’m blown away at what we’ve been able to build together in such a short amount of time. Thank you for helping keep our momentum going, and for being a part of this team!
