FIRST: This grassroots team helped Democrat Abby Finkenauer raise more than $1 MILLION – outraising seven-term Republican incumbent Sen. Grassley, who's been in D.C. for decades. Sen. Grassley has never faced a campaign as powerful as this one, and he's never been this vulnerable.

BUT THEN: The campaign arm of the Senate GOP hauled in more than $25 million in just a few months to protect vulnerable incumbents like Sen. Grassley. With nearly two-thirds of Iowans saying they're ready to show Grassley the door, the GOP establishment is prepared to spend heavily to protect him.
