My name is Matt LaMirande, and I joined the Nelson for Senate team in August, as the Full Nelson Tour was in full swing. I’m a proud native of Dresser, Wisconsin and graduate of St. Croix Falls high school. My job has been to accompany Tom on the tour, and help plan the stops on the 72 country tour across the state of Wisconsin.

This is Irene and I exhausted in campaign HQ after another leg of the tour.
As I sit here writing this email to you, I’m honestly still tired from all the traveling. John, this tour made one thing abundantly clear to me:
Wisconsin is clamoring for sincere, compassionate leadership in the US Senate.
Tom is committed to being just that for our state. That is why he took the time to meet people from every county in Wisconsin to hear about their struggles and priorities for their next US Senator.
I didn’t see any other candidates doing the same (and I’ve been to every corner of our state).

In addition to seeing nearly every corner of this state, I also got to know Tom during this tour. Between the random anecdotes about AC/DC and the Packers, I learned about Tom’s passion for supporting working people and his steadfast belief in standing up for the little guy against corporate power.
Take it from me, the person who has spent perhaps the most amount of time with Tom over the past couple of months;
Tom is the person that will fight for you in the United States Senate.
