We have 72 hours |

Dear John,

Yesterday, after weeks of negotiations and listening to constituents like you, the White House released a new framework for the Build Back Better Act. It contains some of the most transformative investments in children in decades and the U.S. House of Representatives will vote on it as early as Monday. This is a game changer for child hunger! If passed, these policies will help to feed millions of children across the nation.

Please call your representative before noon on Monday.

A simple phone call is one of the most powerful ways to make your opinions heard. It only takes a moment. Give your name, your town, and let them know you are a constituent. Then simply tell them you support the once-in-a-generation legislation called the Build Back Better Act and that you’re urging them to quickly pass the bill with these investments in child nutrition and direct benefits to families.

Every voice matters as we near the final stretch!

Dear John,

We have a rare opportunity to make transformational progress toward ending childhood hunger and poverty, and we need your help.

Three provisions of President Biden’s Build Back Better plan would together represent a giant step toward making no kid hungry a reality.

URGENT: Tell Congress to preserve the parts of Build Back Better aimed at reducing childhood poverty and hunger.

Congress and the White House are in the final stages of negotiating the final form of Build Back Better. Your voice will help keep the focus on children and families in need.

The three provisions would:

  • Cut through bureaucratic red tape and open the way for schools to provide free school meals to nearly 9 million more children in need.
  • Expand the Summer EBT program to all 50 states so more kids can get the nutrition they need during the especially hungry summer months when school is out.
  • Extend the expanded Child Tax Credit, which provides funds that help families with necessities like diapers, child care, rent and other basic needs. This measure alone could cut childhood poverty by more than 40 percent!
John, these measures represent a once-in-a-generation opportunity to set our nation on track to end childhood hinger once and for all. Please help hungry children by telling Congress this is an opportunity we simply cannot afford to lose.

Thanks for all you do to make no kid hungry a reality.
