On Monday, the Supreme Court will hear oral arguments about the 6-week abortion ban in Texas, which places a bounty on abortions across the state. At the same time, reproductive freedom groups around the country are preparing for another Supreme Court case, scheduled to begin December 1, which will directly challenge the protections of Roe v. Wade. It’s crystal clear — we cannot rely on the Supreme Court to protect reproductive freedom.
Our fight is won and lost at the local and state levels. We only have four more days to mobilize the prochoice voters of this country to ensure that every candidate elected to public office on November 2 is a prochoice champion who is ready to fight for our reproductive freedom.
