Thank you for your partnership with Unto® in providing critical aid to people in India. When the second wave of COVID-19 left millions facing illness, lockdowns, and a lack of basic supplies, your support provided people with lifesaving meals, medical care, and other essential items. Local Cru® staff teams worked with government officials to open a field hospital, and they were able to distribute the medical and personal protective equipment you supplied to healthcare facilities across the country. Your gift met critical needs and provided opportunities for local staff teams to share the eternal hope of Jesus.


Ramesh and his wife sell street food in their East India village. During the COVID-19 lockdowns, they were not able to open for business. Without any income the couple’s savings quickly diminished, and Ramesh’s wife worried about how they would feed their three children.


Local staff team members reached out to them and provided the family with two months’ worth of meals. Ramesh said, “When none of our relatives stood beside us, we are ever grateful to your team for extending their helping hands for us during our difficult times.”


Your generosity provided meals for more than 4,060 people when they were unable to work and provide for their families due to the COVID-19 pandemic.




With hospitals at maximum capacity — and forced to turn away many seriously ill patients — local government leaders approached our in-country team members about setting up a field hospital. The ministry headquarters became a 60-bed COVID-19 early care facility. At least 144 patients were given basic medical assistance, including oxygen, by trained doctors and nurses.


Your support also helped supply 30,095 masks and other personal protective equipment for healthcare workers. Local team members organized an online health and hygiene training for 95 pastors serving in rural villages, equipping them to teach people in their communities about preventative care. The pastors also received basic medical equipment and supplies to help sick individuals avoid severe symptoms.
