Hard to believe, but we’re already just over a year out from the 2022 midterm elections. Here’s a look at the state of our race:
- The redistricting process is well underway but won’t be finalized until December, which means we’re still unsure of what the new district lines will look like. There are many possible outcomes—including a more conservative-leaning district.
- The same special interest groups that are currently spending millions to lobby against President Biden’s agenda will spend money in the next election to try and replace progressive Democrats like Katie with conservative Republicans.
- Democrats hold the majority by just a few seats, and so we know that the GOP sees this year as one of their best chances to flip the House.
This just means we’ve got to gear up early and plan strategically for the race ahead. Can we count on your support?
