The election is almost here! Have you made a plan to vote yet? |
For folks who still want to vote early: New York City early voting poll sites are open today from 7am-4pm, Saturday from 8am-5pm, and Sunday from 8am-4pm. Double check your polling location (it may not be the same as your Election Day site!)
For folks who want to vote on Election Day: NYC election day poll sites are open from 6am-9pm. You should not need to show ID to vote. If any issues come up, call the NY Attorney General’s voter hotline at 1-800-771-7755 (select your language, then select # for “election related complaints.”) Find your polling location here!
In addition to voting for your next Mayor, Comptroller, Public Advocate, and City Council Member, this year there are 5 ballot questions on the back of the ballot. I’m voting yes on all 5 measures to improve our democracy and protect the environment. For more info about the measures, read up on how they came about in The City, and check out this helpful analysis from District Leader Kim Moscaritolo.
Friends don’t let friends miss out on democracy. Don’t forget to remind three friends to vote!
Onward,
Brad
