Hey there, friend. 👋
If we haven't met yet, I’m Nell, Cora's Finance Director. I’m writing to update you on our fundraising efforts ahead of Sunday's end-of-month fundraising deadline.
But first, I'd like to take a moment to say thank you. We ask a lot of our supporters, and I've been so amazed by your generosity and commitment to our campaign.
I'm reaching out because this deadline has taken on a new urgency in recent weeks. We got word that Ryan Zinke hauled in nearly $600,000 thanks to relationships he built in the Trump Administration.
We set a stretch goal of raising $40,000 in online contributions before our deadline hits. That's a 15% increase over our initial target because unfortunately, we were outraised by Zinke and we can't fall behind again. The good news is we're not far off from our goal -- just
$11,331 left to raise.
With the clock ticking, will you consider making your very first contribution of $3 to help us hit our goal?
I'll never put Cora on the phone with corporations or their PACs to raise money. The truth is, the vast majority of the contributions we receive come from individual donors chipping in small amounts on emails just like this one.
Some may think relying on grassroots donors is a disadvantage, but I truly think it's our biggest strength. It's how we surpassed expectations last quarter and outraised the entire Democratic field, and it's how we'll beat Zinke.
So what do you say, can you help us out by chipping in $3 to close the gap?
Thank you,
Nell Vanden Brook
Finance Director
