At Pro-Israel America, we’re making clear to the small group of anti-Israel voices trying to politicize our strategic alliance with Israel by any means possible that their actions will not be tolerated without political consequence. I wrote about these members in my latest blog post [[link removed]] – including Senator Rand Paul and anti-Israel “progressives” – who are grandstanding to oppose Israel’s funding and in the process, emboldening dangerous terrorist groups like Hamas.
That’s why this month, we announced [[link removed]] our 30 congressional “key races” of focus for the 2022 election – important elections that include some of the most competitive primaries and general elections as well as races between pro-Israel champions and anti-Israel opponents. We’re excited to bring the power of our grassroots community – you – to help all of them cross the victory line next year.
We continue to support and learn from pro-Israel members of Congress, like New York Congressman John Katko, who we recently hosted in a virtual meet-and-greet, and we’ll be speaking with his colleagues Jaime Herrera Beutler and Peter Meijer in the next few weeks. These key races include Senator Lisa Murkowski (R-AK), who is running in a competitive primary, and 3 senators who will be running in competitive general elections : Senators Maggie Hassan (D-NH), Catherine Cortez Masto (D-NV), and Marco Rubio (R-FL) .

Earlier this month, Senator Rand Paul blocked a vote on approving $1 billion in emergency funding for Israel's Iron Dome defense system. Iron Dome is what protected innocent Israelis and Palestinians from being massacred by the onslaught of more than 4,300 rockets launched by Hamas and other terrorist groups. Because of the Iron Dome system, more than 90% of these rockets were able to be stopped.
