Whenever I feel anxious or isolated, I come here to read about shared experiences and to find advice, information, comfort, and encouragement. Breastcancer.org provides a true sense of community, which is a vital component in maintaining my emotional well-being as I navigate this difficult road we are all on.

I wish none of us had to travel it, but at least we don’t have to do it alone.

Receiving a diagnosis of breast cancer and navigating treatment decisions are overwhelming on their own. Add to that the everyday realities of staying organized, paying for treatment, maintaining a job, managing symptoms and side effects, and remaining present for your loved ones, and feelings of being overwhelmed, anxious, confused, or alone are very real for people with breast cancer.

We know there are moments when having people you trust by your side can make a difference. For people with breast cancer, these moments really matter.

Community PSA

With your donation to Breastcancer.org’s CARE fund, you help us provide comprehensive information about breast health and breast cancer, in-depth reporting on the latest research news, and access to a peer community of people sharing their experiences and supporting each other.

There is a huge amount of love, laughter, humour and friendship on Breastcancer.org, as well as other emotions associated with the breast cancer journey. I came onto the site never expecting it to become so much a part of my life as it has. Breast cancer is the catalyst for how we join the community but that is not the reason for staying. Breastcancer.org is about much more than just breast cancer, it is about friendship too.

The moment you take to make a donation today will make a lifetime of difference for someone dealing with a breast cancer diagnosis, ensuring they don't have to navigate the road alone.
