John, I’ve been hearing a lot of chatter about redistricting, and I want to clear the air:

Here’s the honest truth. Republicans have made it clear that Lucy is their top target, and we need to make sure we have her back.

SUPPORT LUCY’S CAMPAIGN TODAY Right now, our grassroots fundraising is behind our goal for the month of October — $16,297.78, to be precise. That’s a big problem. Here’s why:

Missing even one of these goals could put us on the road to losing in 2022. We need to have Lucy’s back, and not meeting our fundraising goals puts her in jeopardy — at the exact wrong time.

Let me remind you what all is on the line if they succeed in kicking Lucy out of Congress: We won’t just lose an incredible voice and leader in Congress. We could lose the Democratic majority in the House along with her — and with it, any hope of making progress on the issues that we all care about.

So, John: Redistricting is coming. We don’t know what that looks like yet, but it doesn’t look good. We can do one of two things about that: We can worry, or we can get to work. I know what I’m doing, and I hope you’ll help us do your part by chipping in today to help close our $16K gap before time runs out on our October deadline.
