John, at the Working Families Party, we believe it's important to be transparent with our supporters. We're facing a bit of a slowdown in our email fundraising when you compare this month to last month:
As of today, we're just 63% of the way to what we raised over email in September. With so much on the line in Congress and in critical elections for WFP champions all around the country next Tuesday, we have to get back on track β and fast.
Month after month, we count on grassroots supporters like you to invest in the movement we're building together β which is why we wanted to be honest about where things stand. Can you contribute $3 or more toward our end-of-month goal of $15,000 to fuel our electoral organizing and advocacy in Congress?

This week is going to be really important. Here's the type of on-the-ground work that your grassroots contributions help support:
β
Getting out the vote ahead of Election Day on Tuesday for WFP-endorsed candidates and ballot initiatives all across the country, like India Walton in Buffalo, New York, and Question 2 in Minneapolis that would replace the Police Department with the Department of Public Safety to better protect Black lives and promote true safety in the city.
π’ Pushing WFP champions and progressives in Congress to continue holding the line on keeping the Build Back Better Act and the Bipartisan Infrastructure Bill firmly linked β and holding Joe Manchin, Kyrsten Sinema, and other corporate Democrats accountable to their constituents β so we can finally pass a transformational agenda of climate, care, jobs, and justice.
ποΈ Laying the groundwork and planning for key primaries in 2022 and the critical midterm elections that will be here before we know it.
But all of this work takes a whole lot of resources, John, which is why weβre asking one more time:
Can you contribute $3 toward our October goal of $15,000 to help us catch up on our email fundraising and sustain this work?
Unlike corporate Democrats, we connect to and build this community through small-dollar donations from people like you β so anything you can give truly makes a difference.
In solidarity,
Team WFP
