Save the date of November 18th! We are proud to join the Global Collaborative—a survivor-led network of NGO’s, faith-based institutions, survivor networks, and governments—in calling on the United Nations for the establishment of November 18th as “International Day for Child Sexual Exploitation and Abuse Prevention and Healing.” Creating this world day will lead to increased 1) awareness, 2) international funding for prevention, healing, and justice, and 3) legislative solutions! BUT we’ll need your help! On November 18th keep track of your steps on your phone or Fitbit and log them here. You can also post online using the hashtag #Nov18WorldDay. These simple actions will help send the message to the international community in support of this new world day, and it will symbolize how we all want to take more steps to end child sexual exploitation and abuse! |

TikTok, Snapchat, and YouTube were called to account in front of the US Senate this week for the harms their products are inflicting on kids. Witness testimonies and the technology platforms' evasive answers to questions made it painfully clear how these platforms are dangerous, opaque, and not doing enough to protect their youngest users. This is an historic, pivotal moment in time—one that we must all use to propel actual change in protecting children. NCOSE supports the CAMRA Act, EARN IT Act, and more legislation that will help in this endeavor. |
