Hi there,

Lately, I’ve been writing to you about RAGA, or the Republican Attorneys General Association. RAGA is about to attack us -- and to understand why and how, here is some background:
For my first race for AG in 2012, RAGA spent a record-breaking $3 million against me. It was the most they had ever spent on any race around the country.
Today, RAGA is spending more than twice that on AG races in states like Virginia and Kentucky. They’re specifically targeting Democratic AGs that have joined me on the front lines of fighting Trump’s abuses of power.
RAGA takes unlimited corporate money from companies that don’t like the way we’re holding them accountable. We’ve heard that some of these corporate contributions have even been made specifically on the condition that the money be spent to unseat me.
Many Washingtonians don’t understand the major threat that RAGA poses to our state. All they see is our team’s continual wins in court and on the campaign trail. But because RAGA is funded by million-dollar corporations and I refuse to take any corporate contributions, they can raise a lot of money much more quickly than us.

Ultimately, RAGA’s mission is to elect even more Republican AGs who will be in the pockets of the corporate benefactors that fund them. They will stop at nothing to try and keep us from continuing to defeat them in court. We have to fight back.

Thank you,
Bob
