Friends —

Many may look at me and see mostly what I have lost.

But instead of focusing on what I cannot do, I have tried to live life without limits. I’ve set tougher and tougher goals for myself.

Some of those goals I can only chase alone.

Others require teamwork and the commitment of many others to accomplish what most believed would be impossible.

Mark’s work as a Senator and his re-election campaign is not easy work. And the way he tackles that work takes courage.

Believe me, I am familiar with the pressure those in Congress face to cast votes for their communities knowing the extraordinary sums of money that could be spent against them by corporate special interests seeking retribution. He is facing that today.

Those are votes he must take alone.

But the work of keeping him in the Senate is something we all must do together. That is the only way he wins. And it is why I am asking:
