Amazon revamps HQ2 plans to avoid creating “boxy” skyline

Black Lives Matter Plaza reconstruction is complete

MoCo planning board to resume in-person meetings with proof of vaccination

McMillan gets the go-ahead

Why rents aren’t staying frozen in DC

DC instituted a rent freeze during the pandemic and it’s in place through the end of the year — but rents have still gone up. Part of that is a pullback in concessions like free bonus months, but part is because the freeze didn’t specify whether it applied to vacant units.  (Jon Banister / Bisnow)

Downtown DC’s last payphone
