I first ran for governor in 2015, not because I wanted the job, but because I

John,

I first ran for governor in 2015, not because I wanted the job, but because I
was willing to do the job. There is a huge difference between the two.

Unfortunately my opponent for governor thinks he is entitled to the job. He
and his politically entrenched family consider it to be a birthright. We had
another Gubernatorial Debate tonight, John. Andy Beshear, whose father’s
corruption and political mess we are still working hard to clean up, knows
nothing about what our state needs.

Kentuckians were absolutely sick and tired of his father’s crooked, backroom
deals.

We decided that enough was enough! That’s why I was elected as a political
outsider to help fix our state’s problems – no matter how hard the job may be.

Now I need your help to do it again.

We’re just a little over a week away from the election, and we really need
every resource our team can gather to make it successfully across the finish
line.

There’s so much more work to be done: continuing to make Kentucky the greatest
place in the world to do business, permanently fixing our pension system,
ensuring a high quality education is available to every single child in our
state and that their parents are empowered with choices for each individual
child, modernizing and simplifying our tax code, investing infrastructure
dollars in a sustainable way that provides a positive return on the investment
by taxpayers, to name a few.

Will you chip in $10, $20, $50 or whatever you can afford to keep Kentucky
moving forward?

If we allow Andy Beshear to be elected governor, it will only take Kentucky
backward.

That’s why I’m reaching out, John.

In this final stretch of the campaign, I need all of the support I can get to
defeat the liberal, out-of-state influences trying to buy off our state. Will
you remind your family and friends that we need their vote on November 5th?

With your support, I commit to you that I will never stop working on your
behalf to make sure Kentucky remains the best place in America to live and work.

With gratitude,

Matt Bevin

Governor of Kentucky
