The storm was one of the strongest hurricanes to hit the state of Louisiana in a lifetime and we held the line. This was not another Katrina, and when those around the community needed help, we came together to care for our community.
Mayor Cantrell always says that the people of New Orleans are what truly makes our city so special, and our sense of community is just who we are.
