Axios: Biden says presidency "will be determined" by outcome of spending plans. 

President Biden told the House Democratic caucus Thursday "my presidency will be determined" by the votes he wants in the next week on his $1.75 trillion social safety net expansion and $1.2 trillion infrastructure package.

The New York Times: Democrats Race to Figure Out How to Pay for Social and Climate Programs.  President Biden leaves for Europe on Thursday, but lingering disputes over how to finance the plan may prevent Democrats from uniting around a framework.

Fox News: GOP senators demand fully vaccinated federal employees return to in-person work to address massive backlog. A group of Republican senators led by Cynthia Lummis of Wyoming will introduce legislation Thursday that would require federal government employees to return to in-person work amid complaints that agencies like the Social Security Administration (SSA) are so backed up with applications that many Americans are having to go without benefits.

Fox Business: Stephen Moore: New GDP report is a five alarm siren warning -- we are headed towards stagflation. The Commerce Department reported today that the high-flying U.S. economy with a 6.7% rate of growth in the U.S. economy for the first half of this year crash landed in the third quarter (July-September) with an anemic rate of just 2 percent.
