It’s been an incredible past eight days at the Campaign to Save the Boundary Waters! For nine years we’ve been laser-focused on leading, building, and mobilizing the coalition to protect the Boundary Waters from the threat of sulfide-ore copper mining. The Star Tribune: Minnesota’s major newspaper published an excellent editorial praising the Biden administration for taking action to protect the Boundary Waters from sulfide-ore copper mining last week. The editorial cites the tremendous risk associated with copper mining, the trouble withs accountability when things go wrong, the fragility of the ecosystem, and the heavy mining-industry bias of the previous administration.


National Public Radio: The sustainable economy of Wilderness edge communities depends on clean water. Saving the Boundary Waters means saving hundreds of small businesses and thousands of livelihoods.
