The Star Tribune: Minnesota’s major newspaper published an excellent editorial praising the Biden administration for taking action to protect the Boundary Waters from sulfide-ore copper mining last week. The editorial cites the tremendous risk associated with copper mining, the trouble withs accountability when things go wrong, the fragility of the ecosystem, and the heavy mining-industry bias of the previous administration.
