Hi John,

Did you see Hank’s email? Even we sometimes forget how hard he’s working to create change in Congress. If that means getting arrested to bring attention to an important issue like voting rights, he’ll do it.

We are coming down to the wire with this month’s fundraising goal, and we still have $226 to go.

We deserve a tireless champion like Hank in Congress. Would you be willing to pitch in today to help him out? Here’s the link: https://secure.actblue.com/donate/HJGA-04-Email-Oct2021-FR-EOM

John,

When I was arrested for protesting attempts to stall voting rights reform this summer, I did so because it’s a fundamental right to our democracy that is being threatened. Republicans around the country are trying to pass more restrictions that target voters of color to tip the scales in their favor rather than win them over with their vision for the nation.

Hank being arrested during a protest for voting rights this summer.

And when common sense voting reform legislation came up for a vote in the Senate, every single Republican voted to filibuster. They have become a unified front against democracy.

I will not stop fighting until every person in this country has access to the ballot box, but I’m up against the entire GOP. Will you consider donating to my campaign so I can meet my end-of-month deadline and come out swinging?
