Welcome to Friday, October 29th, vampires and werewolves...

Costumes based on Netflix’s hit series “Squid Game” will not be allowed at three elementary schools in New York state because the show glorifies violence and would be “inappropriate.”

The school district has policies that restrict costumes with items “that can be interpreted as weapons” or are “too gory or scary."

The district superintendent cited past instances of students reenacting games from the show, where adults play children's games for money and the losers are killed. They worry that the costumes could further encourage “games associated with violent behavior."

Some parents have spoken out against the ban, with one calling it “overbearing."

** Should Experiments on Puppies Be Eliminated?
------------------------------------------------------------

The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) and its leader, Dr. Anthony Fauci, are facing bipartisan criticism after a report by an advocacy group revealed it used taxpayer funds to conduct experiments on beagle puppies.

Rep. Nancy Mace (R-SC) led a group of bipartisan lawmakers in writing a letter calling on Fauci and NIAID to explain beagle experiments that were recently revealed by a watchdog group known as the White Coat Waste Project.

The letter cited a test in which 44 beagle puppies between six and eight months of age were administered an experimental drug by injection or forced-feeding.

Should federal agencies be prohibited from performing medical experiments on puppies? ([link removed])

** And, In The End...

Thankfully, everyone learned their lesson, and Wall Street and Congress never allowed something like this to happen again...

On October 29, 1929, the stock market crashed, and either directly caused - or largely contributed to - the Great Depression.

If you do suffer from depression, I hope it's not a great one,
