The pressure was once again increasing on progressives in Congress today to move forward only on a smaller physical infrastructure bill without agreed-upon legislative text for President Biden’s larger Build Back Better Act that makes long-overdue investments in working people, families, and our communities.
Pramila and progressives responded to this pressure by organizing together and saying what they have long made clear for months: The popular Build Back Better Act — with childcare, housing, pre-K, health care, climate action, and much more — and the infrastructure bill go TOGETHER. It's not one or the other — it's BOTH.
