Progressives are holding the line

Indivisibles,

A few minutes ago we found out great news: the progressive bloc held, and we’re on the path to passing Build Back Better and the Bipartisan Infrastructure Package and getting some MAJOR wins for everyone. Childcare, climate action, home care and affordable housing are all still on the table, thanks to the hard work of Indivisible activists, our partners in the Congressional Progressive caucus and many others.

We’ll have more updates for you on Monday, but right now, the House and Senate are headed home for the weekend. Then come Monday, we’ll be back in action ensuring we pass these crucial measures and get a complete Win for all of us. To do that, we’ll need help with a few things:

  1. Calling Senators and Members of Congress and reminding them we want the full package, not just a tiny sliver. Call today and leave a message, then remember to call again Monday morning. 
  2. Adding to pressure on social media -- you can share our tweets here or facebook posts here to get the word out to ask your friends to call as well. 
  3. Donating to support this work. This fight isn’t over, and we’ll be here every step of the way, drafting resources, launching ads and more. Click here to invest in that and all our work.

This is a HUGE win and show of power for progressives, but more importantly, it’s a huge win for the millions of people who will be helped by the Build Back Better plan. Because of activists like you, Democrats didn’t settle for a mediocre package -- we’re doing what we can to pass a real bill that meets this critical moment. Thank you.
