Friend, here’s some math that makes us really excited about our work:

Through our first on-the-ground issue campaign, we’ve collected information from more than 35,000 Texas voters. Our records show nearly 10,000 of them need to update or complete their voter registration — and you can bet we’ll work hard to ensure each and every one of them join the electorate.

This week, we launched our second-ever campaign to fight for a living wage in the Rio Grande Valley. In the months ahead, we’ll aim to launch campaigns in at least a dozen cities and towns across Texas.

What do you get if you add up the results of all these campaigns, friend? Enough brand-new progressive voters in Texas to decide competitive races in the midterms.

Now here’s one last number for you, friend: $20 . That’s a typical grassroots donation to Ground Game Texas. Folks like you chipping in $20 (or anything you can) are the only reason we’ll be able to scale up to make a statewide impact.

Will you chip in $20 today to help Ground Game Texas reach a goal of raising $9,000 before our October end-of-month fundraising deadline? [[link removed]] It’s going to take all of us to reach this important goal, and your support today is critical.

When you chip in a donation to Ground Game Texas, you’re part of a big team that’s making it possible to build a progressive Texas from the ground up. Anything you can chip in to this email will help us reach, inspire, and mobilize thousands of people to become progressive voters in Texas.

Thank you for taking action today,

Team Ground Game Texas
