I’ll be the first to say it - Liz Cheney and I don’t agree on much of anything. Except the need to protect our democracy from Donald Trump. That’s why when I saw she was recently attacked by Marjorie Taylor Greene, I knew I needed to speak out.

This isn’t the first time Marjorie Taylor Greene has resorted to childlike shouting matches with fellow members of Congress. Eric Swalwell and Debbie Dingell have also been victims of her tantrums. I have to say, where has the civility gone in our politics? What kind of example is this?

Violence and extremism have no place in our country, and definitely no place in the halls of Congress. But that is exactly what we’re up against next year as more extremists and Qanon followers run for office. I know what it’s like to have to run against one - and I know what it takes to beat them. And this year won’t be any different in my race. We have to mobilize our grassroots army and push back hard against their conspiracy theories.

It could literally make or break if Democrats hold the House. We have to stop more Marjorie Taylor Greenes from coming to Congress.
