Halloween is right around the corner, but Governor Abbott is still the scariest thing in Texas. Time and again, Abbott has put the lives of Texans on the line for his own personal gain, and honestly, nothing is scarier than that. The terrifying way Governor Abbott has governed our state for the last eight years has turned the Governor’s Mansion into the Haunted Mansion. Take action right now to help defeat the scariest governor Texas has seen in a long time:

Since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, Texans have begged Abbott to implement precautions to save the lives of people all across our state. Instead, he’s supported bans on mask and vaccine mandates, failing to protect us from the devastating effects of this pandemic. That’s downright terrifying.

This year Governor Abbott has participated in one of the most blatant overreaches of power in our state’s history, calling not one, not two, but three extra, irregular legislative sessions -- all to push his own right-wing agenda onto the Texas legislature, attacking trans kids, voting rights, and abortion access.

But the harm doesn’t stop there. Abbott failed to prepare for and respond to the winter storm that devastated Texans this February -- and his campaign even profited from the disaster. At every turn, Governor Abbott has put his own political career above the lives of Texans, and honestly Friend, enough is enough.

During his time as Governor, Abbott has done too many terrifying things to count. But next Halloween, we don’t have to be scared of what Governor Abbott will do next because we’ll have the opportunity to vote him out of office. We only have one year to prepare for this crucial election, and we can’t take back our state from this Texas terror without you.
