In just a few days, we will reach our October end-of-month deadline. This is when our campaign focuses on mounting a strong fundraising push, and I wanted to take this opportunity to explain why your contributions are so important.

Before Abigail won in 2018, Republicans held this seat for almost half a century. National Republican groups and outside spenders are eager to flip it back in 2022 and will pull out all the stops to do so. Last election cycle, outside groups spent over $15,000,000 — yes, $15 million! — in Virginia’s 7th District. This year, groups have already launched ad campaigns distorting Abigail’s record. We expect many more to follow in the next year.

By contributing anything you can today, you make sure we withstand these attacks. To win, we will need a great team, literature for canvassers, digital ads, TV ads, and an office where we will again bring our community of volunteers together! Voters across the district need to know that Abigail will always advocate for our community and put our interests first.
