After Montana Democrats established our Native Program in early June, the Flathead Tribal Committee elected officers, making them the second tribal committee in the nation to become completely established and hold elections. This was historic and necessary to ensure that our officials are representative of our entire state.
We’re moving towards a democracy truly by and for the people. This is incredibly important work, but it does cost money.
