Hey there,

The news coming out of the White House and the Trump administration continues to bring new, shocking revelations about how deeply corrupt our president is. From obstruction of justice, to asking for foreign intervention in our elections, to profiting off his position of power — the list of crimes is so long it’s easy to lose hope in the power of our government to do good.

But I’m here to tell you there’s still hope.

Here in New York and in the halls of Congress, I encounter people every day who are fighting to make our country a more fair and just place to live for the middle class, for our immigrant friends and neighbors, and for people of color. They give me hope that things won’t always be this way, that justice will be served to those who seek to destroy everything that makes our country great.

As your member of Congress I am fighting like hell to amplify their voices, support their causes, and bring justice to those who have been wronged by this racist president and his corrupt administration. But if I’m going to continue to do that, I need to know that you stand with me.
