We have 5 days left in this race. Our campaign is focused on defending democracy, increasing funding for education and moving Virginia forward.

But Glenn Youngkin? His closing message is about banning award-winning books from our schools and silencing the voices of Black authors.

Apparently, it wasn’t enough to indulge Donald Trump’s lies about the 2020 election. It wasn’t enough to pander to insurrectionists. It wasn’t enough to peddle antisemitic rhetoric and homophobic ideas. His ace card is full-blown racism and now, he’s dragging our kids into the middle of his ugly, right-wing culture war.

We worked tirelessly to reject Donald Trump’s policies of hate and division last year. And John, we’ve got to do it again in 5 days.

Glenn Youngkin is ending his campaign the way he started it: with divisive, racist rhetoric and right-wing conspiracy theories. To top it off, Donald Trump is coming to Virginia to prop him up before Election Day.

Youngkin’s far-right social agenda is WRONG for Virginia, John. From restricting abortion rights to opposing to banning books by Black authors, he’s made it clear he wants to take us back.

Next week, Virginia has the opportunity to reject this hate and choose a better way forward.
