Folks —

This month, I’ve been working hard to pass the infrastructure and budget reconciliation bills in the Senate — and our work isn’t finished yet.

With Mitch McConnell abusing the filibuster to block so many of our bills, the budget reconciliation — which only needs a simple majority to pass — is our best shot at making the progress working families are waiting on, like expanding affordable health care.

For more than a decade, Wisconsin Republicans have refused to accept federal funding and expand Medicaid for over 90,000 Wisconsinites — meaning that in our state, you can bring home just $13,000 a year and still not qualify for affordable health care.

But this problem isn’t unique to just Wisconsin, millions of Americans across the country have been shut out of Medicaid simply because of where they live. That’s wrong, and I’m committed to getting folks the life-saving health care they deserve and need.

Passing the Build Back Better budget is especially important to me because it includes my plan to close the coverage gap by expanding affordable health care for folks who have been shut out of Medicaid coverage in states like Wisconsin.

Can you pitch in $3 right now before our end-of-month deadline expires on Sunday to help my campaign continue pushing for legislation to close the coverage gap? We have the majority to expand affordable health care, and it’s time for Democrats to get it done.
