John, I want to take a minute to tell you what patriotism means to me.

Patriotism isn’t just a love for one’s country -- more importantly, it’s a love for the people in it.

That’s why I find myself getting so upset when Lauren Boebert starts talking about her brand of hateful patriotism -- the kind that berates and belittles people, all for the sake of retweets and airtime on conservative news outlets. Now she’s asking “patriots” to make donations of $17.76 to her campaign.

I’ve got a better idea.

My team and I have a $20,000 end-of-month goal coming up and I think a better way to show real patriotism -- the kind built on love, generosity, and empathy -- would be to make a $20.22 donation to my campaign to flip CO-03 blue. [[link removed]]
