Over the past few days, especially with an opponent in the race now, I’ve been reflecting on what Antonio running for and serving in office has meant to me.
Every single day, Antonio and I remain dedicated to our principles, disciplining ourselves as a family as he runs for reelection. Like so many of you, this has taken a ton of juggling personally, professionally, and politically --
but you’ve all held us up.
I think back a lot to Antonio’s first run -- I always knew he would serve compassionately. I knew that he would serve wholeheartedly and honestly.
And that’s exactly what he’s done, and why he’s running for reelection.
The boys and I see Antonio’s dedication and honesty firsthand at home -- and you’ve all gotten to see it through his advocacy, his legislation, and through his work to put families first.

It’s already been five years since Antonio and I made the decision to do everything we could to be a part of a political movement for change in our country. Little did we know that when we made that decision that we’d all be shaken to our core when fast forward to March 2020, the coronavirus plagued our communities, changed our lives forever, and challenged families who were struggling to get by even more.
We also didn’t know that Antonio would have to vote not just once, but twice to impeach the then President.
And Team, we didn’t know that what was supposed to be a peaceful transition of power would turn into a violent attack on our nation’s Capitol.
We know personally that the unknown is simply inevitable. But with every unknown, we’ve still been able to rely on one consistent thing: Antonio’s commitment to the people.
No matter what attacks came his way, and despite the growing partisanship that has gridlocked countless legislation. Antonio has kept his promise and has shown up to do the work time and again. He’s centered love and compassion at the core of his work, and has reached across the aisle in the hardest of times.
Antonio’s dedication to empowering everyone in our communities has been consistent. And he’ll continue to show up for each and every one of us so long as he remains Congressman for NY-19. So please, team if you’re able, chip in toward this critical end-of-month fundraising deadline.
