Hi John,

I just finished a meeting with our finance team and want to share with you
some numbers that came up:

* 3: As of today, there are only 3 days left until our end-of-month
fundraising deadline. This has been a major month of organizing and
legislating for Cori. From speaking publicly for the first time about
having an abortion, to holding the line in Congress so we can pass the
Build Better Act with the bold, progressive policies we need — Cori
has been hard at work demanding meaningful change and it’s critical we
also put in the work to keep Cori in Congress.

* $60,000: We set a goal to raise $60,000 by Sunday at midnight to make
sure we have the funds to continue powering Cori’s work and show our
widespread support.

* $20.76: This is the average amount we’ve received from online
donations this month. We’re proud of this number because it represents
the people-powered movement that’s rising up with Cori. We’re relying
on donations like these to hit our goal this weekend.

this Sunday? Last quarter, 98.5% of all donations to Cori were small
donations from grassroots supporters like you, so we mean it when we say
every dollar counts.

As the finance person for Team Cori, I know what this movement is capable
of when we work together.

When we put together our $1, $5, and $20.76 donations — we have the power
to create a new kind of politics that’s built by real people and to fight
for the transformative solutions our communities need.

Cori doesn’t accept a cent from super PACs or corporate mega-donors
because she only wants to be accountable to her constituents. Together,
we’re showing the country and the establishment how powerful a
people-centric, grassroots powered campaign can be.

But here’s the challenge we face right now: We’re a little behind where we
wanted to be in the month with our fundraising. Time is running out, but I
know if we all work together, chipping in whatever we can afford, we can
hit this goal.
