After months of negotiations, we have a framework on the biggest climate bill in American history! $555 billion to halve carbon emissions by the end of the decade and invest in clean energy, jobs, and justice for the communities hardest-hit by the climate crisis.
Now Congress must gird itself against hordes of fossil fuel lobbyists and quickly pass this bill for the American people. That means they need to hear from the American people...including John xxxxxx.
This bill will help millions of Americans afford electric cars, home energy efficiency and weatherization improvements, and solar installations, while creating hundreds of thousands of family-sustaining careers.
The president is heading to Glasgow for the crucial COP26 global climate summit, and it's imperative he can use American climate leadership as leverage to get other countries to the bargaining table.
