While corporate Democrats, Wall Street, Big Pharma, and fossil fuel
lobbyists barter with what’s left of the Build Back Better Act and try to
ram through a smaller Republican-backed bill, people in this country are
suffering. It’s all just politics and profits for them — it’s not about
the people. That’s why Justice Democrats are fighting back.

Other Justice Democrats and Bernie Sanders are saying the same thing.
Action on climate change is a top priority for JDs, which is why
progressives are demanding that the Build Back Better Act pass the Senate
before voting on the corporate-backed smaller bill.

may be a problem. And on the heels of Manchin, Sinema, and their corporate
allies stripping out a billionaire’s tax, paid family and medical leave,
and an end to fossil fuel subsidies, we know corporate lobbyists are
heavily influencing policy right now.
