Dear Friend,
This fall, New Yorkers can VOTE YES on three statewide ballot propositions for a stronger democracy while dramatically increasing our freedom to vote. Every New Yorker should have a say:
-
YES ON 1 means districts that put New Yorkers before politicians. New York took a first step towards a better redistricting process six years ago. Now, we have a chance to go further, put communities first, and protect ourselves from politicians looking to divide us as new maps are drawn.
-
YES ON 3 means no more voter registration deadlines. This will eliminate the nearly two-week voter registration cutoff before an election.
-
YES ON 4 means you can vote absentee, no excuse needed. No-excuse absentee voting means you can vote absentee without needing to provide a reason.
That’s why New Yorkers must flip their ballot and Vote Yes!
Your voice matters which is why it’s important to prepare for the upcoming election:
First, check your voter registration status. Check your registration here:
Voting absentee? Be sure to postmark your ballot by November 2nd or drop it off at any early voting or election day poll site.
Voting early? Early voting runs from Saturday, October 23rd through Sunday, October 31st. There is no voting on Monday, November 1st. Your early voting poll site may be different from your election day poll site, so make sure to check your poll site location here:
Voting on election day? Tuesday, November 2nd polls are open from 6 am to 9 pm. Find your Election Day poll site here:
Finally, don’t forget to flip your ballot as there are five statewide ballot proposals that will impact our democracy’s future. Check out our website to read more about proposals 1, 3, and 4!
Thank you for your continued support,
