Hi John,
Team Olikara traveled over 500 miles through Dunn and Jackson Counties recently, listening to community members. We heard how greater access to clean water and broadband internet will help ensure farmers, workers, and students can remain in and continue growing our small towns. The Singing Senator made another appearance on this trip, this time jamming to Tom Petty with The Cutaways in Menomonie.
Music has a way of bringing people together and that’s what our campaign is all about. It was through music that Steven found his calling in politics and learned the most important skill of a U.S. Senator – listening. Listening enables us to elevate the needs of those across Wisconsin who have been left out of our politics.
We are so grateful for the support of donors who have grown this movement for a more inclusive form of politics. Would you help the Singing Senator continue our listening tour across Wisconsin by becoming a monthly contributor? We hope to see you soon on the campaign trail and Steven just might bring his guitar along and share a song or two! Together, we’re building this movement one city at a time, one town at a time, one person at a time and…one guitar chord at a time. :)
In harmony, Team Olikara |
