Information on Amendment 78 and Proposition 120

AMENDMENT 78: Endorsed by the Colorado Republican Party -- VOTE YES!

Amendment 78 would end executive branch slush funds. It would ensure that all state money is allocated only after a public hearing and a vote from legislators from across the state. Currently, liberal legislators are spending large sums of money with no oversight.
* Governor Polis spent $1.6 billion in stimulus funds completely on his own.
* 9/11 recovery funds were used for John Hickenlooper’s legal fees when he broke Colorado ethics laws.
* AG Weiser directed ([link removed]) hundreds of thousands of no-bid contracts to law firms that made large campaign contributions.
* Secretary Griswold chose to spend millions of dollars ([link removed]) from the CARES Act on a no-bid contract for ads produced by the Democrat led PR firms, Glover Park Group. The commercials, paid for by taxpayer dollars, featured Griswold.

We need transparency and accountability over all state funds. Vote Yes on Amendment 78.

PROPOSITION 120: Endorsed by the Colorado Republican Party -- VOTE YES!

Don’t be fooled by liberal politicians who are trying to confuse voters. Prop 120 is a 9% property tax cut for everyone!
* It’s the largest tax cut in Colorado history.
* It does not impact our TABOR tax refunds.
* It helps preserve the Homestead Exemption for seniors and disabled veterans.

As the Colorado Springs Gazette says, “Cut Taxes – Defy Politicians. Vote Yes on Prop 120.”
